This pharmacy comprises a sales area of approximately 70 m² and another 70 m² of space below the street level. It is located on Via Washington in Milan, the fashion capital whose Mittel-European identity is reflected in innovative projects as the city prepares for Expo 2015.
The unexpectedly luminous setting is put to advantage and displays top-quality health care services and products. Thanks to the Mec@Mat automatic distribution system for medicines, Dr. Mattalia is able to listen to and satisfy all the needs of his clientele and offer advice without obliging his clients to make a purchase.
The store is virtually a 360° display case. The upper portion of the walls forms a frame in lilac-colored laminate which characterizes and personalizes the overall effect.
The starring role is played by the lighting; a series of directional light fixtures are located along the sides of the pharmacy, spotlighting the display units.
The entire pharmacy can be seen from the counter and clients can be assisted in every moment of the sale. The area is enhanced by the height of the furniture and the broad, lilac-colored panels.
This welcoming ambience, with its soft and discreet graphics, begins right at the doorway: an uninterrupted display area lines the walls, the merchandise is separated into sectors and is highlighted by images and easy-to-read signs.
The prescription area features four counters with anti-scratch lacquered backs, fronts in back-lit, tempered crystal and white crystalline marble counter tops. Two transparent columns for delivering medicines from the automatic drug dispenser located below are easily visible.
