This pharmacy measures approximately 95 m² and uses every inch to optimize both the storing of pharmaceuticals and their display to the public. The store has an imposing façade that encompasses one of the corners of Piazza Massena in Genoa.
The curving form of the façade has become the leitmotif of the pharmacy’s interior décor.
The ambience is immediately noticeable, as it highlights tradition with satin-finish colors to set off the various levels of the false ceiling. These same colors are used in the different sales areas, with details in the furnishings as well.
The display makes a strong impact: a display case turns the shiny steel stairway and handrail into an element connecting the various sections of the pharmacy.
The lighting design highlights the display units along the walls and also keeps the entire interior well illuminated. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in ample light, which is counterbalanced through a careful control of the lighting and the type of lights that are used.
